Job Duties

Job purpose: accomplishes project objectives by planning project activities, from implementation to completion. This also includes the delivery of projects on time and to budget.

·        Assess requirements of projects and identify what is needed.
·        Create and deliver project work plans from implementation phase and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
·        Identify appropriate resources and assign responsibilities.
·        Works closely with relevant stake holders (both internal and external) to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
·        Manage and monitor day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) whilst having knowledge of where all designated projects are at any given time.
·        Ability to operate within defined project processes/methodology.
·        Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
·        Effective management of scheduling and scope-creep.
·        Accurate testing of systems and early identification of issues. 
·        Early identification and flagging of potential road-blocks/issues to all relevant stake-holders.
·        Proactive Project Management – looking ahead and planning appropriately.
·        Understand implications of specific issues and the ramifications they may have on the wider project/team.
·        Submit timely project status reports to all relevant stakeholders; reviews bugs; plans software releases; anticipates and reacts to change. 
·        Sees project through to successful completion.

Applicant Specification

·        Communication.  You will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including clear and effective briefing skills.
·        Demonstrating confidence, tact and a persuasive professional manner.
·        Managing your own time.  You will have excellent organisational and time management skills enabling the management of multiple deliverables to set deadlines.
·        Systems.  You will be a Systems expert with the ability to build on the company software knowledge (beyond assigned projects).
·        Forming excellent working relationships.  The ability to interact with people at all levels of an organisation, internally and externally.
·        Demonstrating excellent attention to detail and quality.
·        Maintaining a highly proficient level of computer skills including Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
·        Problem solving. You will have high levels of resourcefulness/initiative – confident decision maker and creative problem-solver, but comfortable in asking for assistance when needed.
·        Being able to demonstrate commercial acumen.
