Founded in the UK in 2012, our client is a leader in employing cutting edge technologies with a dedicated fibre network and cloud-based IT system to deliver energy-saving BMS, lighting, energy, and metering services. As the energy sector expands, so does their business. They are now looking to recruit an Project Manager to join their growing, forward-thinking team, based in Elmstead Market. 

Job Duties

The Project Manager is accountable for coordinating all parties involved to deliver a project. You will make sure that quality of our service occurs according to the given timeframe and within the budget constraints. The Project Manager supervises the development of the project in every phase and solves problems that may arise along the way. 
 
Duties (include but are not limited to):
·       Supporting the MD with the operational running of the business
·       Overseeing the project from beginning to end
·       Determine the objectives and plans of the project 
·       Identify project risks and recommend appropriate solutions
·       Develop project budget along with the Technical Sales Engineer in consideration with cost optimisation and reduction goals
·       Selection of sub-contractors required for the delivery of the project
·       Track, monitor and control expense based on budget guidelines
·       Ensure project execution within defined budget and timelines
·       Manage resource assignment, work allocation requirements for projects
·       Conduct regular project status meetings with project team
·       Address questions and concerns of project team, management and customers in professional and confident manner
·       Provide project financial progress, delays and issues to the Operations Manager in a timely manner
·       Ensure that project deliverables meet customer expectations
·       Provide support and guidance to engineers and electricians when needed
·       Develop and implement project commissioning and methodologies to achieve project completion
·       Communicating with the contractors in charge of the different phases of the project
·       Maintaining strict compliance to budgetary limits, quality work, ad safety rules
·       Being the client’s point of contact
