Our client is a Legal Insurance Provider based in Langham near Colchester, who are passionate about providing the highest quality service using expertise. They specialise in Insurance and believe that they provide 'best in market' legal advice and case handling. They are looking for like-minded individuals to join their team as a First Response Administrator.

The hours are variable working patterns which include between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am till 5pm on Saturdays- likely to be 1 in 3 Saturdays 
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to join the company as a First Response Administrator. This role is to work within the administration team and is the perfect role for a well-organised individual looking to progress in a career within insurance.

Job Duties

  • Answer and directing incoming telephone calls, resolving questions and issues.
  • Respond to enquiries from clients and insurers in a courteous and helpful manner and ensure that all information is obtained and communicated correctly.
  • Validate policy details and set up new legal expenses insurance claims on the Claims Management System
  • Organise and handle post, including incoming emails.
  • Scan and index all incoming claims post
  • Maintain accurate data on the Claims Management System
  • Maintain secure, efficient and accurate filing systems
  • Type letters/memos/emails/ and deal with correspondence as appropriate 
  • Greet visitors, arrange for refreshments for visitors and deal with deliveries
  • To carry out all work in accordance with agreed service standards and FCA regulations
  • Ad-hoc project work
  • Other duties and responsibilities as may be set by the Operations Manager/ Team Manager

Essential
·       Excellent verbal and written communication
·       Exceptional telephone manner
·       Excellent organisational and time keeping skills
·       Confidence to work on own tasks without supervision
·       Experience of using all Microsoft Office programs
 
Desirable
·       Previous experience in Administration or Customer Service
·       Experience of working in a busy office environment
·       Knowledge of Legal Expenses
