Our client are a leading business who specialise in manufacturing and distributing towed equipment and parts to the plant hire, construction and utility industries. They are now looking to recruit a Customer Services Executive to be based at their Colchester headquarters. This role is working on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £25k per annum.

Job Duties

To be the first point of contact and the face of the business, maintaining the company reputation for outstanding customer service. Process all customer orders, quotes, and queries so that ALL their needs, requirements and expectations are fulfilled in line with our Company mission statement, values, and code of conduct.
 
Duties (include but are not limited to):
·        Answer every call as quickly as possible in a positive and professional manager
·        Prioritise every phone call over current workload / emailed order / office distraction
·        Process all phoned and emailed orders and enquiries.
·        Update customer records in IQ with any address changes or contact names / numbers where applicable
·        Pass on any customer feedback / issues / price queries to Account Manager
·        Upsell on every order.
·        With specials, make sure you get all the correct info before asking procurement to order
·        Inform customers of any delays or shortages on their order and let them know when it will be available.
·        Deal with customer returns accurately recording why goods are being sent back and the resolution.
·        Deal with carrier queries and arrange collections.
·        Look after the Business WhatsApp number and deal with enquiries as they come in
·        Look after the webchat function on the website and deal with the enquiries in whatever format they take
·        Liaise with the warehouse about customer orders if issues with stock / special delivery instructions etc
·        Monitor the sales inbox and deal with the emails / orders as they come in
·        Speak with suppliers to confirm cost prices and lead times on ‘nonstock’ items with a view of being able to quote the customers correctly
·        Quote customers on stocked and non-stocked items and email quote to the customer

·        Maintains a neat and tidy workstation
·        Highly organised and deadline conscious
·        Excellent time management skills, as well as good IT skills
·        Able to deal with difficult conversations or customers in a professional and sympathetic manner, being devoted to delivering exceptional customer service
·        Previous experience of other customer services/administrative work preferred
